Senator Jimoh Ibrahim representing Ondo South Senatorial District had called for the need to distribute food vouchers to the members of the public in order to ease the current economic hardship.
Senator Ibrahim made this call on the floor of the Senate during a plenary session. He said there is need to distribute such voucher in the various districts. He added the need to also back the gesture up with data.
He said, “If we can do “vouchers for food” then ask senators to distribute these vouchers in their various district with data to back it up, with the understanding that accounting is historical while data is futuristic, Nigeria will smile,our path to greatness as a country will be clearer.”
