The veteran journalist and daughter of former governor of Oyo state Dr Kemi Olunloyo has announced her intention to quit active journalism come 2025 while attaching the decision to loss of interest.
Kemi made this known on her social media page ‘kemi talks’. She said, “Good Morning 🌞 to you all. The truth of it all is that I’ve LOST interest in journalism. I’ve retired at 25 yrs-2019, came back after 3 months, retired at 30 yrs-2024, came back after 8 months.”
According to the veteran, she will be having her last day on February 9th 2025. She said, “9th February will be my 31st anniversary. No need for discussions. You all know the reason. I love you all.”
She however decided to repay monies paid for group membership by her followers. “Those who paid me for group membership, I will refund you today. Send your account number to me in the DM or email in the bio,” she dropped.
Capping it, Olunloyo said moving on, her life will be taking a new dimension as she thanked her fans for memories. “My life is moving in a new direction. February 9th 1994-2025 is not bad. Thank you for the memories.
