Come Friday, 27th December 2024, the ancient town of Offa, the second largest city in Kwara state will be agog with music from popular Nigerian artistes including a fuji music maestro to celebratea yearly event, ‘Ijakadi’ festival.
According to a notification made available by Chief Musbau Olalekan Olaniyi, Aare Bobajiro of Offa, the musical artistes inlude Teniola Apata, Qdot Alagbe, Small Doctor, other hip hop artistes and a fuji legend. The notification read, “You can’t afford to miss the all night fun #OffaTuntun.”
The festival which commenced few years into the reign of Oba Muftau Gbadamosi Ajagungbade Esuwoye II has since been constant with improvement being seen as each year passes.
