A young lady, name withheld, has taken time to give praises and adoration to God for helping her recover from mental health problems. She described her journey from 2017 to 2024 as ‘ Darkness to Light ‘.
In a social media post, the lady said, “TO GOD BE THE GLORY: 2017 and now 2024, from Darkness to Light, God is truly wonderful.”
According to the young, innocent, good looking lady, she had been roaming the streets aimlessly, not even recognising herself. She said, “I’ll never forget the darkest days of my life. In 2017, I lost myself to the grips of mental illness. I would roam the streets, talking to myself, and be unable to recognize my loved ones.”
She said her family had lost hope when suddenly, she got healed through the help of Doctors who knew their onions as far as mental health is concerned. “My family thought all hope was lost, but with the help of compassionate doctors, supportive family, and friends who refused to give up on me, I began my journey to recovery,” she wrote.
She further stressed that she had since moved past her trial period as she now manages her own businesses. “Today, in 2024, I stand before you, healed and whole. The lady who once wandered aimlessly now runs successful businesses, inspiring others with her story,” she said.
