Orhii: A Genius of Repute Benefiary, Aondoakula Sonter Michael celebrates a hero
Meet a Doctor of Medicine and Philosophy, a Juris Doctor of Law, a Pharmacologists, Physician and Biomedical Scientist, a man who has employed his vast knowledge over the years to make the world a better place.
Serving as the Nigeria’s drug and food chief regulator and administrator (DG NAFDAC,) his innovative ideas and reviving leadership style had launched him into the global scene and he would later serve as Vice Chairman of the International Medical Products Anti-Counterfeiting Taskforce (IMPACT), and as the Pioneer Chairman of the Steering Committee of the WHO Membership Mechanism on Spurious, Substandard, Falsely-Labelled, Falsified Counterfeit Medical Products. He was among the few distinguished Nigerians, selected by former President Goodluck Jonathan to serve as a member of the 2015 Presidential Transition Committee.
Dr Paul Orhii OON has over the years, used his long standing professionalism and experience to immeasurably contribute his quota to the administration of the country in general and to this, has added to the values of the health sector which has already ranked the country high on the map of global health system.
As one of the numerous beneficiaries of his love and resolve for total child education, I have a cause to celebrate a man who has sponsored, given scholarships and provided conducive learning environments for thousands of Nigerian youth to acquire qualitative education.
It’s worth the effort to celebrate this outstanding technocrat of pedigree whose commitment in all facets of life has earned him several remarkable heights among his people and has for long, been using his endowments and affluence to shelter his people and by extension, advance the course of humanity.
