Senator Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, the Deputy Senate Leader has kicked off the remodeling of Ajase-Ipo and Idi-Ogun motor parks to boost socioeconomic development in Kwara South Senatorial District.
The lack of decent motor parks has long hindered the area’s transportation system, and these upgrades aim to enhance connectivity and growth. Ajase-Ipo, strategically located at the heart of Kwara South, serves as a key hub for intra and inter-state movement.
Its transformation will significantly impact the region’s transportation landscape. Meanwhile, Idi-Ogun motor park, once a major spot in Offa, had fallen into disrepair due to a lack of basic amenities. Its revitalization is expected to bring new life to the area.
As a people-centered leader, Senator Ashiru has made these projects possible through the National Productivity Commission (NPC). The goal is to create efficient and effective transportation systems in Igbominna and Ibolo lands, benefiting the entire senatorial district. The good news doesn’t stop there! Residents of Kwara South can look forward to more development projects in the coming weeks, courtesy of Senator Ashiru, the transformation architect.
